YST series wire-line survey steering tool consists of the following components: directional probe, pressure barrel, rig-floor display interface and power supply unit, general/special purpose computer and printer.
It can perform suvery during drilling.
The sensor outputs acquired from the downhole instrument are transmitted to the surface by a cable in the form of pulses to be processed by the surface instruments.
These results provide the parameters of inclination, azimuth, tool face, temperature, etc. for displaying, printing and real time controlling.
These series instruments have two types below:
YST-35 is one of the wire-line survey steering tools widely applied. It is featured at real time, accurate and reliable logging survey of inclination, azimuth, tool face, temperature and other parameters in the well. These parameters are transmitted to the surface by cables for display.
YST-25 is the product first created by our company in China and its probe outer diameter is 25mm, thinnest in all the wire-line survey steering tools. It has all the features of YST-35 type wire-line survey steering tool and particuarly suitable to survey while drilling in the short radius directional well.
